Women's Tour of Scotland
The three-day, three stage 350km Tour will take place on Friday 9th – Sunday 11th August 2019 and is intended to be a long-term fixture in the events calendar. Stage Three of the Women’s Tour of Scotland passes through the Scottish Borders. The final stage starts and finishes in the beautiful setting of Holyrood Park, a Royal Park in central Edinburgh. The visit of the Women’s Tour of Scotland coincides with the Edinburgh Festival and as a result there is lots to do in the city.
Stage 3 is neutralised for the first 10kms as the race heads south towards Peebles. The first sprint of the day is at Innerleithen (52kms). The first Queen of the Mountains climb of the day is at 70kms on the Mid Lothian borders.
Sprint 2 is a Bonnyrigg (90kms). The peloton re-enter Holyrood Park with 100kms covered with final sprint at 107kms. There will be three Queen of the Mountains climbs which will make the final 18kms of the Tour decisive.

Between 18-20 of the worlds’ leading elite teams will be taking part and the Women’s Tour of Scotland has proved a welcome addition to the international calendar of the worldwide governing body for cycling, the UCI.
