A route which takes you in a loop passing the Rhymer’s Stone which offers pleasant views of the Tweed Valley.

There are two crests before dropping down to Eildon crossroads. The route continues to Bowden and then climbs to a summit at Bowdenmoor Reservoir which is perched on the west side of the Eildon Hills. The route descends and heads back towards Melrose.
